Hello Jon, I have close to 6 years experience in the film business, both the mainstream & the so called "indie". I have made my own film all outta pocket, and I understand how frustrated it can be. Now...I could say "do this or you gotta do that" but you are a smart guy and you seem to know how it is... sooooo, here is the best advice I can give you. I did make my film in Sydney and others have done the same (Brad MILLS etc) but i think you and Marie should pick up shop and move to Halifax. Lot's going on there...Sydney not so much. Halifax is where you NEED to be. There you go... All my best
